GemMetric™ earns that trust two ways: honest uncertainty — every grade carries a confidence band that tells you how much to trust it, so false precision never costs you a deal — and a verified expert community that strengthens the reference database over time.
Industry professionals can apply for verified status by submitting a recognized credential. Verified experts gain access to expert-tier tools — including the ability to submit confirmed entries to the Gemstone Vault and provide feedback that strengthens the reference database.
The long-term vision: every scan feeds an anonymized dataset of real-world gem colors tied to verified grades and market prices. More users, more scans, better data — and a path to becoming the price authority for colored stones. No lab, no auction house, and no ordinary app builds this.
Submit your GIA G.G. number for directory verification. Approved gemologists earn expert-tier access, including the ability to submit verified entries to the reference vault.
AGS members can verify via their member ID. The same expert-tier privileges apply once approved.
No directory-listable credential? You can still apply using a public LinkedIn profile that demonstrates professional gemological experience.
What a GemMetric™ report looks like
